Epping Medical & Specialist Centre

This Centre is to be located approximately 20kms north of Melbourne and 300 metres west of the 320 - bed Northern Hospital. The Centre will provide in excess of 9000sqm of lettable area together with 370 on-site carparking spaces for both patients and staff. It is anticipated that up to 90 medical practitioners and / or allied health professionals will be working at the Centre on any week day. A General Practice will form part of the Centre and will provide an extended hours service over 7 days of the week.

In addition to GPs, specialists and allied health professionals the Centre will provide a full range of medical related services such as radiotherapy, day surgery, radiology, pathology, pharmacy, optometry and industrial health / rehabilitation services.

A private hospital is planned on the site just north of the Medical & Specialist Centre when viability can be justified.

Construction of the Centre is due to commence in September, 2007 and is scheduled to open in late March 2009.
