2020 has undoubtedly been a year like no other. Whilst it has not been without challenges, our team at McMullin have continued to work hard to progress our projects and find exciting new future developments that we will be rolling out in 2021.
Highlights of 2020 include the completion of subdivision and landscape works at ConnectNorth Business Park, which is now well and truly under construction by the new respective Purchasers. We also started developing several high-end residential projects in St Kilda and Elwood through our new joint-venture Mermac. This joint venture has also secured a commercial site in Bendigo, with more announcements about this in 2021.
Our Aged Care team has been busy, with significant projects underway for our clients at Chirnside Park and Glen Iris.
Perhaps most significantly, last week we settled on the 67 ha purchase of land to become our New Business Park in the North, Fusion Business Park at 45 Donnybrook Road. This land is in the heart of Melbourne’s booming north, located on the corner of Hume Freeway and Donnybrook Road, Mickleham.
2021 will also see the launch of another new business park in Melbourne’s south-east, Kaduna Business Park. Located in Officer South and ideally located in the heart of the Cardinia Road Employment Precinct (CREP).
Our team will be taking a well-deserved break over the coming holiday season, with our office closing from 1 pm on Thursday 24 December 2020, reopening on Monday 11 January 2021.
