McMullin has had a long-standing business partnership with BASScare, guiding them through their property development and construction journey of multiple aged care and retirement living projects.
BASScare is an independent, not-for-profit aged care organisation. BASScare (Boroondara Aged Services Society) began in 1956 as Canterbury Citizens Welfare Committee.
Today, BASScare operates an integrated program of aged care services including meals-on-wheels, residential care facilities, respite care and dementia-specific services.
A long-standing partnership between BASScare and McMullin began in 2001, with McMullin assisting with their ongoing program of building improvement and new development. This partnership is an instance of McMullin’s versatile approach to business partnerships, as our team provide a package of skills and services, tailored specifically to suit BASScare’s requirements.
Our value to BASScare is underpinned by our teams’ knowledge of property development and construction processes, coupled with an intimate understanding of aged care operations.
We have clear lines of communication with the BASScare team, from the board and executive team, right through to their operational and maintenance staff, ensuring we fully understand and continually deliver to their expectations and requirements.
Our property development team has worked on new BASScare property developments from inception right through to completion. Our intimate understanding of Australia’s aged care industry, married with the knowledge of BASScares business objectives has positioned our team as invaluable experts, able to guide, recommend and activate projects to create the best possible outcome for BASScare.
